picture of aurora in unicorn costumeWelcome to the 2017-18 school year at Auburn Elementary School. For those of you who are new to Auburn Elementary School, we are committed to further establishing our vision as a Science, Technology, Engineering, Agriculture/Art and Math (STEAM) TK – 5th school. We strive to engage students with hands-on activities which are both rigorous and meaningful.
Our teaching staff is a committed team, who regularly seeks out and engages in professional development, in an effort to find new ways of bringing relevant skills to our students. They are dedicated to meeting every child’s needs both academic and social-emotional, providing a caring and supportive environment, which promotes social responsibility.
As parents, I truly hope you find that Auburn Elementary School is an inviting place where you can become involved in your child’s academic and enrichment experiences. We are constantly striving to give genuine opportunities for feedback and improvement and as principal, I am committed to making myself readily available for both scheduled and organic conversations.
I am so eager to embark on more great work together in the coming academic year!

The Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) is an opportunity for parents, staff and community to provide input in shaping the vision for our children's education.  If you are a parent/guardian in the Auburn Union School District, please share your ideas on what's working well and opportunities for growth.  Your participation is appreciated!
There are two ways for parents/guardians to participate in the LCAP process:
